A very nice hardware hack :)
I modified it placing the ADNS 2610 (got those free as samples) in a tiny video cam housing, and now it can see a 3cm black dot from around 60 cms (whichs great for what I need and at 18x18 resolution, also 1500fps) ;) I suppose the original project can only see from point blank. Im using the program written by the owner of that page to test it. Next step is interfacing it to a PIC18F452 through SPI for simple image processing. I think I should also add some high power LEDs for better illumination. Ignore my background please ;p |
