July 30th 2008 was the special day of the London Premiere of The X Files I Want To Believe movie. All the x philes from the Facebook Group XFiles 2 The London Get Together travelled from far and wide to be together, collect their won tickets for the premiere and some of us and most of us met for the first time. Set to the cheesy yet denialably enjoyable song by Milli Vanilli Girl Im Gonna Miss You, this is a tongue in cheek comedy vid showing the bittersweet day we all met and how we cant wait to meet up again. Everyone was lovely, fun and sweet when we met and hung out. It consisted of several days for most staying in London and doing all sorts of X Files things, such as the Chris Carter signing with Frank Spotnitz, the Private screening at the Empire in London Leciester Sq. on the offical day of release of the film, the amazing moments of seeing David Duchovny and Gillian Anderson in person, singing Joy To The World in the street, having lunch together and meeting US phile Rebecca Kabat in New York, when Jo and Beckie made their trip to the US to see the film there before UK. Thanks to Jo for the use of her videos, thanks to Jo and Beckie for recording your adventures and thanks to all the philes who joined the group we met on (I WISH THE X FILES WAS STILL ON) and joined the London group and made it over to meet for real. Special thanks to David Duchovny, Gillian Anderson,Chris Carter and Frank Spotnitz for their generous committment of coming to the UK and for making the wonderful film. And to Jo and Beckie, for making al of this happen. Also thanks to James for the song idea and for finding out how to make this in the first place. Love to the Philes. Till we meet again.
