You may have seen my 2:04.89 run of this level before. If you did, its worth noting that even before I got that, I already had a 1:59.45, and overall even then I didnt think 2:04.89 was very good. Now Ive set out to rectify that, with my existing record of 1:48.32 being bettered by over a second here, and thus its an improvement of over 17 seconds from the previous video. Levels are better optimized and a few new tricks have been found, including a crazy new timesaver with Sonic that wasnt even discovered until after the 1:48.32. And just for pure novelty value, I did this on the one of my save files that doesnt have Air Necklace collected.
