Host Neshia Brathwaite Farhangi attended the 2008 Noor Film Festival in Beverly Hills California and she had encounters with the likes of Anthony Azizi (Lost and the West Wing), Maz Jobrani (Axis of Evil), Ever Carradine (Womens Murder Club and Law & Order: CI), Elham Jazab (Sultans of Satire) and Reza Badiyi (Hawaii 5 0 and Mission: Impossible) Neshia had a particularly entertaining encounter with Rainn Wilson (the Office and Juno). Rainn Wilson was one of the judges for the 2008 Noor Film Festival. In so doing he had an opportunity to watch 14 Iranian films. Among them were, America East, starring Tony Shalhoub, and Anthony Azizi with a guest appearance from Alfre Woodard; Maryam, starring Shohreh Aghdashloo and Maz Jobrani, and David & Layla, starring Shiva Rose. From that experience Rainn Wilson said he got a massive tour of Iran and Iranian culture.
