A government scientist linked to the deadly 2001 anthrax attacks has taken his own life. According to The Los Angeles Times the Justice Department was about to file criminal charges against 62 year old Bruce Ivins. The anthrax attacks killed 5 people, injuring 17 others. The search continues this morning for an armed gunman along the Michigan Wisconsin border. Authorities say they are looking for someone dressed in camouflage. Local media reports three people have been killed, but police say they cant confirm those reports. Rescuers are combing the debris following a deadly dorm collapse in Turkey. At least 14 people are dead, 27 students injured. Six others are believed to be trapped under the rubble. Investigators are looking at the possibility that a gas leak led to a blast, causing the collapse. One year ago today, the I 35 West bridge across the Mississippi River in Minneapolis collapsed. Memorial services are scheduled for today to remember the 13 victims killed in the accident.
